Ybrant Digital Agrees to acquire 3 leading sites from Experian:
As announced recently, Ybrant is to acquire the interactive business from Experian. The properties incliude pricegrabber.com – a price comparison engine which also powers Yahoo and MSN shopping, LowerMyBills.com – a leading portal for personal finance and savings service providers, and ClassesUsa.com, an online education aggregator with 300 accredited colleges and universities, and more than 2 million monthly visitors in the US. Ybrant joins the Facebook Preferred Marketing Developers (PMD) program:
Ybrant is once again setting the trend in the social sphere by becoming part of the Preferred Marketing Developer progrm on Facebook, having obtained the relevant certificate under the Advertising API. The program recognizes companies that have developed technology in one or more of the key areas of the Social Network: Solutions for managing pages, services and platforms for the integration of social solutions, tools for analysis of social data and advertising solutiuons for social ads. New Facebook Pages Admin Roles:
Until today, in order to run social ad formats on Faceboook, it was necessary to be a full administrator of the page. this naturally created some security and confidentiality concerns for brands that are using external services. In order to solve this, Facebook have launched last week the new Admin Roles for Pages. The new role include Manager, Content Creator, Moderator, Advertiser and Analyst. This means that you only need to add an an Ads service provider as “advertiser”, and they can run social formats for you. More information and FAQ from Facebook is available here.

- Sponsored Stories are now visible to friends of friends also as an organic part of their newsfeed, a feature which increases the exposure and the response rates.
- New Facebook Insights features allow to monitor the quality of your applications, using parameters such as ratings and positive vs. negative feedback from users.
